The Baxter School/Community Wellness Center makes a wide range of exercise equipment available to the entire community for fitness and fun – with no fees!



Equipment includes:

• Treadmills
• Elliptical
• Stationary Bikes
• Weight Machines
• Free Weights

The center’s equipment was provided through funding from a Harkin Wellness Grant and the Baxter Community Educational Foundation. There is currently a fundraising effort to assist with equipment repair, maintenance and replacement needs, while the school handles operational costs of utilities and cleaning.

This unique, no-fee facility showcases the community’s ability to work together to continue providing amenities everyone can enjoy, regardless of age or income.
